Another myth mentions that when Adonis was attacked by Ares, God of War, his lover Aphrodite tried to help him.
On her way she caught herself on a thorny bush and when she finally arrived it was already too late, Adonis had died. Their blood mingled and the white quartz in the area was stained to a pink color.
Zeus felt pity for them both, and every year he would restore Adonis to life for half a year.

Rose quartz is such a nice little stone. I don’t know if it has any healing powers, but I do smile every time I look at it. So I guess the meaning of rose quartz is happiness, haha!
I have a rose quartz stone and earlier I was sorting out my bedroom, I found my stone and thought where shall I keep it! On top of the door frame I decided. I’d pottered around all day hoovered and when I came to bed it was in the middle of my bedroom quite a distance from where it would fall!!!
So just decided to look up meanings, does anyone have any ideas?
It sounds to me like you need to put it over your heart while you are laying down. If you think about it the heart is alomost in the middle of your chest and the stone landed in the middle of your room!
